Summer at e3i: the Power of Interns

At e3i, we know the future of engineering is shaped by the next generation. This summer, we are proud to host two exceptional interns who’ve brought curiosity, energy, and dedication to our team.

Payton Driscoll
Finance Intern

Payton joins us from The University of Alabama, where she’s pursuing degrees in Accounting and Finance. At e3i, she’s supported our internal accounting operations, managing AP/AR, invoicing, and project reconciliation. With an impressive level of precision and professionalism. Payton also assists our project managers in maintaining clear, organized financial data to support our decision-making.

Her detail-oriented mindset, combined with a passion for environmental causes and a love for the outdoors, brings both skill and heart to our operations!

Mackenzie Kester
Mechanical Engineering Intern

A rising junior at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Mackenzie joined e3i’s mechanical team with enthusiasm and initiative. She’s assisted in the design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems while learning the ins and outs of mission-critical infrastructure. Her hands-on experience in construction and creativity in problem-solving make her a standout contributor for the summer.

Whether she’s supporting engineers or creating art in her downtime, Mackenzie brings a thoughtful, fresh perspective to our work.

e3i is proud to support their growth as future leaders in the AEC industry!
